11. Airheads (1994)



Directed by: Michael Lehmann
Stars: Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi, and Adam Sandler
Plot: Three band members hoping for a big break head to a radio station to play their demo tape and wind up holding everyone hostage with plastic guns when the head DJ refuses to play them.
Useless trivia: Pip's "secret code" is 256001.
Best moment: The part where Rex is trying to convince Pip to be more aggressive when he's talking to the hostages.


10. Grandma's Boy (2006)

Stars: Allen Covert, Nick Swardson, Linda Cardellini, Joel David Moore, and Doris Roberts
Plot: A 35 year old video game tester has to move in with his grandma and her two old lady roommates.
Useless trivia: The line "You're a hooker" in the opening sequence was an idea of Adam Sandler's that he suggested on the day of the shoot.
Best moment: The Dance Dance Revolution challenge...or, any of the scenes with Joel David Moore pretending to be a robot.

9. So I Married An Axe Murderer (1993)

Stars: Mike Meyers, Nancy Travis, Anthony LaPaglia, and Amanda Plummer
Plot: A San Francisco poet who fears commitment has a girlfriend who he suspects may not be who she appears.
Useless trivia: Sharon Stone was initially set to play the role of Mike Myers' wife.
Best moment: Mike Meyers playing dual roles of Charlie and Stuart (Charlie's father).  Every scene with Stuart is hilarious.

8. Don't Be A Menace (1996)

Stars: Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Keenan Ivory Wayans and Tracey Cherelle Jones
Plot: A parody in the vein of Boyz N The Hood, Menace II Society, and Juice, that follows Ashtray as he returns to the place he grew up in and meet his father and his basket-case friends.
Useless trivia: The full title for the movie is 'Don't Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood'.
Best moment: "Message!"

Plot: A loser finds success in the revenge-for-hire business.
Useless trivia: Chris Farley's last film.
Best moment: An intense shootout in a suburban home while protagonists Mitch and Sam are hiding in the next room.

Plot: A high school senior drives cross-country with his best friends to hook up with a babe he met online.
Useless trivia: Although the film received an R-rating, the source material is actually a young adult novel.
Best moment: Lance trying to describe to the Amish Ezekiel what the internet is.

Plot: An average Joe meets the perfect woman, but his lack of confidence and the influence of his friends and family begin to pick away at the relationship.
Useless trivia: Molly's parents are played by Alice Eve's real-life parents, Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan.
Best moment: Devon "manscapes" Kirk in a bathroom.

4. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2008)

Plot: A murder mystery brings together a private eye, a struggling actress, and a thief masquerading as an actor.
Useless trivia: Johnny Knoxville was set to star as Harry Lockhart before being replaced by Robert Downey Jr.
Best moment: Harry loads a bullet into a revolver to play Russian Roulette and accidentally shoots a guy.   When Gay Perry asks if he put a live round into the gun, Harry responds "Well yeah, there was like an 8% chance."  To which Gay Perry says, "Eight? Who taught you math?!"

3. Nothing To Lose (1997)

Stars: Tim Robbins, Martin Lawrence, John C. McGinley and Kelly Preston
Plot: Nick Beam's life couldn't get any worse. He discovers he has been living a lie and is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. So when T. Paul, a carjacker, attempts to rob him, it is the last straw for Nick. With everything to gain and nothing to lose, he kidnaps T. Paul and attempts to put his life back together.
Useless trivia: Despite the fact that this was filmed in the standard spherical format, "Filmed in Panavision" is listed in the end credits.
Best moment: Terrance and Nick having a conversation in a diner where Nick explains his breakdown.

2. The Whole Nine Yards (2000)


Directed by: Jonathon Lynn
Stars: Matthew Perry, Bruce Willis, Natasha Henstridge, Amanda Peet, Michael Clarke Duncan, and Kevin Pollack
Plot: Nick is a struggling dentist in Canada. A new neighbor moves in, and he discovers that it is Jimmy "The Tulip" Teduski. His wife convinces him to go to Chicago and inform the mob boss who wants Jimmy dead.
Useless trivia: Is the first mainstream American movie to be filmed in Montreal and take place in Montreal.
Best moment: Basically Matthew Perry's entire performance in this movie.

1. Dead Man On Campus (1998)



Directed by: Alan Cohn
Stars: Tom Everett Scott, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Poppy Montgomery, Locklyn Munro, Randy Pearlstein, Corey Page, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segal
Plot: Two college roommates go out and party, resulting in bad grades. They learn of the clause that says, "If your roommate dies, you get an A," and decide to find someone who is on the verge, so to speak, to move in with them.
Useless trivia: Jason Segal and Alyson Hannigan, who both appear in this movie (although not together,) are reunited as married couple Marshall and Lily in the TV series 'How I Met Your Mother'.
Best Moment: It's hard to pick just one moment, but I would have to say the scene where "gothic" Matt is singing show tunes in a bathroom.
